Abstract

The economy of the Municipality of Palopo in the fourth quarter of 2024, as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current market prices, reached Rp 2.92 trillion and at 2010 constant prices reached Rp 1.75 trillion.
The cumulative economy of the Municipality of Palopo throughout 2024 experienced a year-on-year (c-to-c) growth of 4.40 percent compared to 2023. From the production side, the largest growth occurred in the tertiary sector at 6.19 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) component at 2.66 percent.
The economy of the Municipality of Palopo in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 experienced a year-on-year (y-on-y) growth of 6.76 percent. From the production side, the secondary sector experienced the highest growth at 8.35 percent. From the expenditure side, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) component experienced the highest growth at 1.10 percent.
The economy of the Municipality of Palopo in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter experienced a quarter-on-quarter (q-to-q) growth of 1.83 percent. From the production side, the secondary sector experienced the highest growth at 12.86 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Government Final Consumption Expenditure component experienced the highest growth at 28.79 percent.
