Palopo City Economic Growth in 2024

The economy of Palopo City in 2024, measured by the magnitude of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 11.08 trillion, and at constant 2010 prices, reached IDR 6.65 trillion. The GRDP per capita amounted to IDR 56.65 million.

Palopo City's economy in 2024 experienced a growth of 4.40 percent compared to 2023. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Other Services Business Field, at 14.15 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (NPISH) Consumption Expenditure Component experienced the highest growth, at 17.63 percent.

The largest contribution to the 2024 Palopo City GRDP by Business Field was achieved by the Wholesale and Retail Trade; Car and Motorcycle Repair Business Field, contributing 24.13 percent of the total GRDP at Current Prices (GRDP-CP). In terms of expenditure, the largest contribution was achieved by the Household Consumption Expenditure Component, contributing 57.76 percent of the total expenditure.
