Abstract

The economy of Palopo City in 2023, as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current market prices, reached Rp 10.5 trillion and the GRDP Per Capita reached Rp 54.47 million.

The economy of Palopo City in 2023 experienced a growth of 4.34 percent compared to 2022. From the production side, the highest growth occurred in the field of Other Services with 10.68 percent growth. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the component of Household Consumption Expenditure (LNPRT) with 10.43 percent growth.

The largest contribution to the GRDP according to the Field of Business in Palopo City in 2023 was achieved by the Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles field with 23.70 percent of the total GRDP at current market prices, while according to the Expenditure of Palopo City in 2023 was achieved by the Household Consumption Expenditure component with 56.79 percent.
