Abstract

In November 2022 in Palopo City there was year on year (yoy) inflation of 5.43 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 112.69.
Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the accumulated price index for all expenditure groups, namely: the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group by 7.67 percent; Clothing and Footwear Group by 1.00 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group by 2.11 percent; Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance Group by 2.26 percent; Health Group by 0.84 percent; Transportation Group by 15.56 percent; Information, Communication and Financial Services Group by 1.03 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group by 1.04 percent; Education Group by 3.36 percent; Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision Group by 2.54 percent; and the Personal Care and Other Services Group by 0.65 percent.
The November 2022 month-to-month (mtm) inflation rate was recorded as deflation of 0.19 percent and the year-to-date (ytd) inflation rate was 4.75 percent.
