Abstract

On August 2021, in Palopo Municipality there was a deflation of 0.06 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.86.

From the eleven expenditure groups, four groups experienced deflation, namely the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.05 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.10 percent; transportation group by 0.28 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.10 percent. There is one group experiencing inflation, namely the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.06 percent. While the other six groups did not experience significant price changes. The deepest deflation was experienced by the transportation group of 0.28 percent with a CPI of 103.94.
