Abstract

In August 2020 there was a deflation of 0.11 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounting to 104.30. From the eleven groups of expenditure, two groups experienced deflation and four groups experienced inflation. The deepest deflation experienced by the food group, beverages and tobacco by 1.31 percent with a CPI of 105.84.
