Abstract

On March 2021, there was a deflation of 0.01 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounting to 104.87. From the eleven groups expenditure, five groups experienced deflation, four groups experienced inflation, and two other groups did not change significant price. Deepest deflation is experienced by the health group by 0.66 percent with a CPI of 102.23.

Deflation occurs because of a decrease in prices which indicated the decline was mostly expenditure group index.

Inflation rate for calendar year March 2021 by 0.36 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate years (March 2021 against March 2020) by 1.50 percent.
