Literacy Development in the Cinta Statistik Neighborhood

Efforts to strengthen statistical literacy continue as part of the initiative to support the realization of the “Cinta Statistik” (Cantik) Neighborhood Program ✨📊

On May 5–7, 2026, the Palopo City Statistics Agency (BPS) conducted a Statistical Literacy Training session for statistical agents in each neighborhood, as well as RT/RW heads, who serve as the frontline implementers of the Cantik Neighborhood Program.

Through this activity, participants were equipped with an understanding of the importance of accurate data, data management at the local level, and the use of data to support more targeted development

With the collaboration and active participation of all parties, it is hoped that a culture of statistical awareness will continue to grow within the community
